Understanding needs.
Informing support.
Reducing uncertainty.
Studio 3 assessments focus on context, history and what will genuinely help next, not labels alone.

Our psychologists work with children, adults and families across emotional wellbeing, development, learning and behaviour. We take a relational, trauma-informed approach and consider the whole person.

The most common reasons families seek an assessment:

-
To understand the impact of early experiences, trauma or disrupted attachment
-
To explore neurodivergence, mental health or learning differences
-
To inform care, education or therapeutic planning
-
To understand thinking, memory or cognitive change
-
To support education, care or legal processes
Our assessment
approach
Every assessment at Studio 3 starts from the same place: respect, curiosity and the belief that behaviour always makes sense in context.
What you can expect:

A calm starting
point
We begin with conversation. This is about listening, understanding concerns and deciding together what kind of assessment will be most helpful.

Attention to history and context
Early experiences, relationships, education and care all matter. We look at the whole picture, not isolated behaviours.

Careful information
gathering
Questionnaires and background information help us see patterns across home, school and everyday life.

Direct and respectful assessment
We work directly with the child or adult in ways that feel appropriate and safe for them. This may include play, conversation, observation or structured tasks.

Professional
formulation
We bring everything together to understand what is happening and why, rather than relying on scores alone.

Clear feedback and
next steps
Our reports focus on strengths, understanding and practical recommendations that support kinder, more consistent responses.
How we can help
All of our assessments follow a clear and supportive structure. What changes is the focus and depth, depending on what you’re trying to understand. We use the same principles whether we’re exploring autism, ADHD or taking a wider 360 view.

Autism assessment
Our autism assessments explore communication, sensory processing, social understanding and emotional regulation.
We take time to understand how traits show up day to day and what support will make life feel safer and more predictable.

ADHD assessment
ADHD assessments consider attention, impulsivity and activity levels alongside emotional regulation, attachment history and sensory needs.
The focus is on practical understanding, not quick conclusions.

360 Assessment
Our 360 assessments bring together psychology, history, relationships and environment.
They are often used where behaviour feels entrenched or when previous support has not worked.
