With the current global pandemic, we understand that people are experiencing higher levels of stress with fewer opportunities to seek support. Individuals are struggling to cope with the impact of financial insecurity, isolation, alternative family dynamics, changing work circumstances, relational losses, societal breakdown and a great sense of uncertainty. We at Studio 3 would like to offer online counselling services to children and adults alike, on a case-by-case basis. Therapeutic plans are developed in collaboration with the individual, ensuring that they are bespoke and personalised to the needs of that individual.
We have an experienced staff team who are supervised by clinical and counselling psychologists. Both children and adults can self-refer.
As part of our service, we will be offering a consultation call, free of charge, with a member of our clinical team.
How Can We Help?
Our areas of expertise include stress support and management, trauma support and immediate support and debriefing. We also offer support through a Low Arousal, positive psychology ethos, which includes mindfulness, relaxation, and cognitive coping skills. Our team of counsellors have a broad range of skills, ranging from counselling, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and other forms of psychotherapy.
Online counselling services will follow the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ‘Working online in the counselling professions’ guidelines.
We tend to recommend sessions on a case by case basis after discussion with a member of the Studio 3 team. The following is an example:
Following a free consultation call
After determining the needs of the individual, and whether this is within the skills of the team, therapeutic sessions are offered
It is custom and practice to usually recommend 6 or 10 one-hour long sessions.
These sessions will be offered over the video conferencing system Zoom, Microsoft teams or Cisco Webex, which are secure mediums ensuring full confidentiality of the individual. Sessions can also be facilitated over the phone.
