For those of you who publically said you would never watch BB this year - there may be a reason....

Andy is being filmed or it might be a live stream to probably Big Brother’s Little Brother which according to the schedules goes out on E4 at 7.30 p.m.

It seems that one of the new house mates has Tourette’s Syndrome and they want a Clinical Psychologist to explain what TS is and the possible implications in such an environment.

That is all we know so if you miss it try the BB big mouth later on.

Comments here please.............................
I have put this here as it relates to our work
posts relating to other parts of BB itself should be in general ramblings

"Day 2 and the clinical Pyschologist is in the diary room!.."

I await television history with glee!

Andy concise - what a marvel

he had more useful and concise info that was relevant in 5 mins than in the number of years I have known him put together - amazing

was quite impressed Andy so for all those who missed it
AVI (http://studio3.org/data/aam/AndyMacBBLB1.avi) file (be warned 32MB) I would right click and download to a location

this took me 4min 48sec on a 1 MB line on a fresh computer (i.e. it had no previous copy)

I may try to compress this further but it will do for now....................

Maybe we should do a seminar in the style of an interview.

Good Stuff. Well Done "Andrew"

It will be interesting to see if the media pick up a debate about perception of syndromes an behaviours etc as the Dr put it, rather than who gets their bits out 1st

Alright, I ill admit that BBLB was not high on my list originally. But, rather strangely, I have real sympathy for the guys position. First, he has chosen to go in there. Second, it is going to raise awareness about Tourettes. Third, what people think about the show is separate from the issue of a bloke with a rare syndrome who wants to be on telly.

So, surprisingly I am in favour.

I dont think it can do any harm and if he becomes an advocate for tourette's and its understanding by the general public its a plus. If you look at other shows - medical drama's and soaps when they cover difficult subjects, how informed the public can be.

I read an article in the Evening Standard this week where a Dr said he will watch BB just to be educated on Tourettes for himself.

Anyhow, Any bloke who gets to say "w##k" on telly is fine by me!

Beats Gordon Ramsey!

I think it's fab that Pete has chosen to do this (Pete is his name - rather than 'guy with Tourette's)!!!!!!!

As has been stated it has definitely raised awareness about Tourette's and that can't be a bad thing. However, i do wonder about people's motives for voting? I would wonder about how may people would vote for Pete for the 'oh bless him' factor??

I think he comes across as a genuinely nice guy, and if i were to vote, that would be why; and i think as the show continues people may get to grips with that a bit more, rather than feeling sorry for him?

I don't know?? Excuse the ramblings!!! Any thoughts??
