I have had the privilege of hearing Anne Donnellan and Martha Leary on two previous occassions and always find these workshops extremely useful and thought provoking.
The content is dynamic not static and steers towards practical examples and how certain cases were moved forward. There is always interactive discussion time.
I have to say that these two seriously influenced the information in that certain part of the training course over the last decade. So if you have been on a studio3 course on the last decade and found it interesting and thought provoking - some of it should be due to these two, very successful, presenters.
I for one am looking forward to June a lot.

I would recommend people attend for lots of reasons. Anne and Martha have a rapport between them which allows them to deliver a really good course and they have a unique way of making you rethink what you have heard about autism and re-evaluate all of your preconceived ideas. They don't just know the science they have spent a lot of time getting to know the people that many others would just study........
I also like their honesty and the way they will point you in directions they too want to explore as they are interested in the learning that is possible. They are also excellent at explaining the potential pitfalls of the paths and theories that failed and can provide sound reasoning about why it failed. Their passion and belief behind a "progress without punishment" approach is very evident and should not be dismissed as it has its foundations in some truly extraordinary work. To hold that belief is often very difficult when the counter arguments are usually based upon some strong emotional experiences. Any trainer worth their salt should not just attend but absorb every minute, then try and work out why they found it so useful and add that experience to their repertoire. Ask questions to develop understanding not just to challenge, you will get more out of it.
(-so yes I'm a fan too  )
I can only concur with both of the posts above. Very thought provoking speakers and a friendly pair too. I'm looking forward to taking more effective notes this time around!

If you could only attend one workshop this year it should be this one. I have heard Anne and Martha on countless occassions and they are wonderful. They are always thought provoking and make you question your own practice which can only be a good thing. I'm delighted that they are coming back and will be heading the stampede for tickets!!!!!!! Hi all,
i have just come back from the conference given by Anne and Martha over the past two days. All i can say is..................amazing!!
For me personally, one of the major things i took away with me was to remember exactly why i started working in these types of settings in the first place. They re - filled my enthusiasm and drive to support people in the best way possible, taking into account their individual personalities, and to try different things in order to achieve this.
So......Anne and Martha.......thank you!!!
