PAST - Autism Cymru conference

Studio III will have a stand at the forthcoming Autism Cymru conference (Cardiff City Hall, 8/9/10th May 06).

The focus will be on 2005's Welsh Assembly Guidance.

An excellent event with a really diverse range of speakers.
Thankyou to Jen and all at Autism Cymru for their hospitality and assistance! (check out awares.com)
Well attended by over 400 people, though many of these from children's services.

A worrying realisation was that most attendees had absolutely no knowledge of the Welsh Assembly Framework on Physical Interventions (2005), despite working with such interventions themselves.

They should perhaps consider attending Studio III's seminar in July on the same subject!!

Just a brief comment on the fact that there appeared to be a large number of parents at the conference, and quite a few services from outside Wales. I'm not sure that i expected it to be such a large and well attended event?
